Change is Good
Aug 31, 2018Do you find yourself stuck in a pattern that is not beneficial or in alignment with what you want? Be mindfully aware of when you are having these feelings, and choose to let go of the emotional state that does not comply with your goals, know that you can change your thought pattern. I reference three of the seven principles of mindfulness: letting go, acceptance, and trust; these are techniques that can help you let go and move on to what you want.
Learn to observe without emotional attachment or judgment. You can do this by practicing a quiet stillness routine that you do every day. Through this quiet stillness or meditation, you can develop a clear objective picture of yourself. Once you let go of the emotion, you allow space for something new to happen, new thoughts and a different way of life.
As we transition to a new season, I encourage you to add a new habit to your routine and choose a daily meditation practice that works for you. With a fresh perspective, we open space to a new opportunity, to change.
