Gentle Reflections vs Mindful Moments

Life throwing you a curve ball lately?

Some weeks can feel like we are met with constant roadblocks. We find ourselves asking, “Why is life so difficult.”  Sometimes life experiences leave us feeling like we have little control over our circumstances.

In these moments, it’s okay to feel this way and allow ourselves to see and feel these feelings, but if we can cultivate a sense of hope, we can be resilient.  

The power lies in not only the awareness of the feeling of being a victim to life but the strength to know I have a choice in the present moment, and I can choose to cultivate hope and optimism.

When we choose this attitude and tap into our inner reserves, we can create a healthy shift in mindset. It is not always easy, but you can foster resilience with practice. 

The key is trusting and knowing that thoughts and feelings ebb and flow. You create your thoughts and feelings. It is your choice; You can choose ones that support courage and empowerment for yourself. And in doing so, allow hopefulness, willingness, and optimism to occupy bandwidth.

You can foster Positivity; it just takes awareness and effort, but it can unlock the doors to a healthier mindset when done. Furthermore, when shared with others returns to renew our spirit!

I encourage you this week to live mindfully aware of where you are and what you wish to experience.

Hopefulness, Optimism, and Positivity are a choice and not necessarily a natural default.
