How to Live with Mindful Gratitude

Jun 16, 2023

Have you ever read the book, The Magic by Rhonda Byrne? It is the third book after The Secret and The Power. I have found all three books to be beneficial positive-living reads. I encourage you to feed your mind with positive, inspirational soul food. Such a mindset can help you stay aware of living with positivity! The Magic encourages you to embrace the mindset of gratitude and the power it can have in your life. The book is laid out giving you exercises you are to do each day for 28 days. I am having so much fun bringing awareness to how giving thanks, multiple times in a day can make the magic of a  greater sense of happiness, fulfillment, and abundance to all aspects of my life!

Sure we all know how to be grateful. Thank you for my eyes to see, legs to walk. Thank you for my husband, my daughter, my dog, etc. Byrne encourages us to apply gratitude under difficult situations by choosing the magic way out of a negative thought pattern. It is impossible to be negative when you are grateful; look for the things to be grateful for that came from that negative situation. For example, you have lost your job but by losing your job it gave you the opportunity to evaluate what you really would like to do for a living and the time off to bring a different order to your life. Another instance, you have a troubling relationship with your mother. While thinking about your mother, you may be grateful for the meals she effortlessly cooked, all the chores she did to keep the house neat and clean. You get the point.

I have already noticed a shift in my awareness. Am I taking for granted or giving thanks at this moment in time?
