Learn How to Stay Connected in each Moment

As I process the illness and recent loss of my mother, I thought it may be beneficial to share a tool I think is invaluable. Living mindfully aware for over a decade now I have cultivated the skill of being a silent witness to my own life experiences. I allow each thought and emotion to hold space and take up residency if need be but use the skills of mindfulness to assist me in moving whatever I wish to let go of out. I find the key to helping me find peace in the process is maintaining my stillness practice and fostering the connection to all that is – I choose to name it God. It is this state of being, I call Grace, where I experience inner peace. It took years to cultivate, but I now find it the ideal place to own my thoughts and feelings free of judgment and filled with love and compassion for self.

I encourage all of you to take this moment to start or renew your own connection for not only courage and strength but love and compassion for self. Enjoy this moment in time with me as I share an exercise to cultivate this connection.
