Can You Foster a Thought Pattern That You ARE Enough?

Those who work with me are aware of an analogy I use when describing our relationships in life.

“You are the cake, and relationships are the icing, making life just a touch sweeter.”

You are enough, just as you are. I thought this would be good to share with you as you reflect on what it means to really Love oneself.

Self-love to me is asking yourself often, “What can I do to care for my mind, body, and spirit?” “What do I need in the present moment to feel safe, secure, and unconditionally loved?”

Self-love is responding to your own needs. This is not a selfish act. On the contrary, it actually is the best gift you can share with your loved ones. When we give ourselves a sense of peace, love, and protection, we are able to bring a fuller version of self to any relationship, as well as inner peace and contentment.

So, during this month of love celebrate a moment of self love and ask yourself what can i give my mind, my body and/or my spirit in the present moment that would make me a better version of how i wish to show up in the world? Feel the answer, notice what comes to mind, and above all else, greet yourself with non-judgment and compassion.
