Do you remember when you were a child, and you looked at every experience with…
I love summer and all that it has to offer: warmer days and more sunshine. Often summer also brings a busy schedule as we try to embrace the joys of the summer months. With that in mind I wanted to share a quote that I love:
Look at a tree, a flower, a plant. Let your awareness rest upon it. How still they are, how deeply rooted in Being. Allow nature to teach you stillness. -Eckhart Tolle
Finding stillness is not always easy. You can have stillness and not have silence. There is the noise of your mind as well as external noises that surround you. Stillness is underneath the noise and is consciousness itself. You may have to explore disturbing noise. Pure acceptance of what comes up for you no matter what form it takes will lead you to your own stillness and your own peace. Take a moment, a walk outside, and breathe in the summer air, and embrace the silence at that moment and cultivate your own unique stillness.
