How do you nurture yourself?

We all have routines to keep us efficient, to keep us on time, to help us add structure to our day. Did you know that having a routine for nurturing your soul is as important as all of your other daily routines? If you feed and nurture your soul and its connection within you are better able to maintain a sense of calm and being grounded in times of need. You may be asking, “How do I nurture my soul and what does that mean?”
There are many ways you can nurture yourself. A proven method I recommend is meditation. Meditation can take many forms and should not be viewed in a stereotypical way. It could be a quiet walk outdoors, sitting peacefully in a place that offers quiet in your home and focusing on your breath or a favorite mantra. Give meditation a try and make it part of your daily routine to create a sense of peace and balance to deal with the daily ups and downs of life.
