Having my practice for nine years now, I have noticed that anger wears many disguises. Sometimes it is as blatant as yelling and screaming or the deadly silent treatment but other times it is a sarcastic sense of humor or cynical look on life. Often anger is disguised further with the subtle “half empty glass” look on life or the body language of defeat. Anger is a dis-ease in the body and can cause much damage to your mental and emotional well-being.
Here are a few affirmations that can assist in facilitating a positive change:
I choose here and now to take my power back and release the toxicity of anger, resentment or jealousy that holds me down.
I allow myself to release this program and find a new identity for myself that is healthier and happier.
I experience a lightness with this new mindset and allow the deep healing to begin as I choose inner peace, acceptance, and contentment at this moment in time.
