When was the last time you compared yourself to another?

Gentle Reflection

I encourage you to notice the next time you compare yourself or someone else to another person, or life experience. Keep in mind that there is not a better or worse situation there only is what is. Pure acceptance, in the present moment, free of judgment, comparison, and criticism. Whatever is happening is what is to be experienced. I believe every experience is happening to teach us something about ourselves. If we stop the cycle of judgment, we show a response of accepting what is and release the need to compare.

The next time you feel called to compare, stop and apply love and compassion to yourself and others. Allow the present moment to be and ask, “What can I learn in this present moment?
