Sometimes it’s hard to remember that we actually have control over our lives and how we live them. It’s very easy to get wrapped up in the day-to-day “have to” mindset (have to work, have to pay bills, etc.), and this affects how we react to those situations and, in turn, how we live our lives.
As I always remind my clients, you are the star of your own life movie.
Each person you encounter–including yourself–plays a role. We are all students and teachers in any situation we encounter.
Each life experience is an opportunity in self-awareness and self-growth.
Through drama, we expand our understanding of ourselves how we think, feel, and act. If we mindfully live, we are better equipped to greet life responsively with open curiosity, non-judgment and compassion. Which leads us to becoming a better version of ourselves.
