This week, I want to share something deeply transformative that I recently experienced during an incredible workshop on Conscious Evolution led by Gregg Braden and Dr. Bruce Lipton. Their insights left a profound impact on me, and I’m eager to pass along one powerful takeaway that I believe can make a difference in your life too.

A Beautiful Time to Be Alive

We are living in an extraordinary era—a time that requires immense courage, resilience, and stamina to navigate the challenges we face. Yet, it’s also a time when we can experience unprecedented levels of exhilaration, inspiration, and connection. I genuinely believe that we are in the midst of a great awakening, where the way we think and feel is more important than ever.

Your mental, emotional, and physical health are crucial right now. And here’s the beautiful truth: You already have everything you need within you to be healthy, happy, and whole. It doesn’t come from external sources; it resides within you.

The Power of Your Thoughts and Emotions

Gregg Braden and Dr. Bruce Lipton reinforced something I’ve always known: the way we think and feel shapes our biology. The research and data they presented overwhelmingly support this truth. So, let me ask you a simple but profound question:

Are you living from a state of fear or a state of love?

Take a moment to reflect on this, without judgment—just pure honesty. Your answer not only affects your own well-being but also influences those around you, contributing to the collective energy we all share. While this may sound a bit “woo woo” to some, it’s grounded in the understanding that we are all energy and vibration. Just as EKGs and MRIs read our energy fields, our thoughts and emotions also emit powerful vibrations that can either uplift or deplete us.

Cultivating a Gratitude-Centered Life

Gregg shared a tool that I find incredibly effective in cultivating a connection between the heart and brain. It’s called the Quick Coherence Technique from HeartMath.org, and it’s something you can do in just three minutes. Gregg emphasized that this method works best for creating coherence between the heart and brain because research shows that gratitude is the easiest feeling for people to create and experience. Unlike love, which can vary greatly in meaning and intensity for each person, gratitude is universally accessible. Here’s how you can practice it:

  1. Sit Comfortably: Close your eyes and connect with the flow of your breath. Notice its natural rhythm.
  2. Heart-Focused Breathing: Imagine breathing in and out of your heart. I like to place my hands over my chest as if sending a loving embrace to my heart.
  3. Invoke a Feeling of Gratitude: Recall a time when you felt immense appreciation and gratitude. Visualize that moment, hold it in your heart, and let it expand within you for a minute or two.


You’ll be amazed at how this simple practice can shift your state of being, bringing calm, clarity, and a heart-centered approach to your day.

A Gentle Invitation

I encourage you to try this exercise daily this week. It only takes a few minutes, and you might find, as I have, that it profoundly influences your mood and mindset. This technique can also be practiced anytime throughout the day when you are feeling draining emotions like sadness and overwhelm.
