When is the last time you were silly?

May 18, 2018

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” – George Bernard Shaw

My children know I am always good for a crazy voice “hello” when I enter our house. No matter what kind of day I have had or what I am up against, doing something as simple as that even makes me laugh on the inside.

Being playful and childlike is good for your health. Laughter has been proven to lower blood pressure and reduce stress hormone levels in the body. Remember to act silly, tell a joke, and laugh often! This lightness creates positive feelings and attitudes that linger and offer long-lasting value when you have to deal with life’s challenges. Share a silly thing you like to do to add levity to your day and those around you!
