We often think of energy as physical — what powers our homes or gets us through a long workday. But the truth is, energy is everything. It flows through your thoughts, emotions, nervous system, and even how you interact with the world around you.
Understanding this was the moment everything changed for me—and eventually led me to create my signature coaching program, the Pathway to Inner Peace™—Featuring the 4R Method.
In this blog post, I’ll show you how science and spirituality both confirm the power of energy, and how I integrate mindfulness, Reiki, and emotional set points to help clients rewire from the inside out.
The Science of Energy: What We Know
Modern science is catching up with what ancient healing traditions have long known: everything is made of energy.
- Quantum physics tells us that matter is not solid but vibrating particles of energy.
- Dr. Joe Dispenza teaches that thoughts are electric and emotions are magnetic, together creating the energetic blueprint of your life.
- Dr. David Hawkins' Map of Consciousness reveals how different emotional states (like shame or gratitude) emit measurable frequencies that influence your health, mindset, and behavior.
Even Einstein said it best: "Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it."
Mindfulness as a Tool to Shift Energy
During my MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) training under the teachings of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, I learned that mindfulness isn’t just about calming down. It’s about changing the brain.
Mindfulness has been shown to:
- Reduce cortisol (stress hormone) levels
- Increase grey matter in areas responsible for emotional regulation
- Strengthen the prefrontal cortex, enhancing clarity and decision-making
When you practice nonjudgmental awareness, you interrupt the old neural pathways built on survival, fear, and reactivity—and begin to form new ones based on intention, presence, and peace.
This is exactly why Recognize is the first step in the 4R Method. You can’t release what you don’t first become aware of.
Thoughts, Emotions, and Your Frequency
Each thought you think, each emotion you feel, carries a specific frequency. Repeated enough times, these frequencies create what I call emotional set points.
Imagine your emotional set point is worry. No matter what happens in your day, you’ll tend to return to that low-frequency state. But once you begin to shift your awareness and practice intentional thought, your set point can rise—from fear to curiosity, from stress to peace.

Reiki: Energy in the Body
While mindfulness works on rewiring the brain, Reiki works on unblocking energy in the body. As a certified Usui Reiki Master and Teacher, I use this hands-on energy healing technique to help clients release energetic congestion.
Energy can get stuck in the body as a result of:
- Repressed emotions
- Chronic stress
- Past trauma
Reiki channels universal life force energy (ki) to promote emotional clarity, nervous system regulation, and deep inner harmony. Many clients describe sessions as "a lightness returning to my heart" or "feeling finally safe inside my body."
