You Always Have a Choice

Life is filled with choices, and daily we exercise this power, often without being cognizant of the how or why we made the choice. Great power lies in the choice.

Do we choose what feels right for us? Or do we choose based on what we think is expected of us or what someone else wants us to choose? Are our choices influenced by others or truly our own? Remember, when exercising mindfulness, there is no right, wrong, good, or bad answer. Thinking about and questioning the choice in this way is a process of self-awareness.

When we understand ourselves, being an impartial witness to our life experiences, we hold the power to evolve and choose what we desire to experience. It’s our choice. We choose our feelings, what we think, speak, and how we act in each moment throughout our day. The questions to ask ourselves, “Are our choices in alignment with who we genuinely are? Do they feel right for us? Are we at peace with the choice?
