In those moments when you are standing in line or faced with a situation where patience is required, consciously stop your thought pattern, gaze softly at the ground or something not distracting and bring your awareness inward to notice your inhalation and exhalation. For a few moments, peacefully observe the flow of the breath in and out.
At that moment, know that your breath encourages inner peace and releases the feelings of stress and impatience. After this exercise, choose your life experience and let things naturally flow as your breath flows knowing that you always have this built-in tool to assist you.
