Mindful Acceptance: The Secret To Peace, Calm, And Clarity

We all know there are times in our life when we have no control over the experience or its outcome.

So how do we foster a state of mind of peace, calm, and clarity?

Mindful acceptance teaches us we don’t have to like it or agree with it or passively resign ourselves to anything. Instead, we accept what is occurring in the present moment, what is reality.

As the saying goes, it is what it is.

When you recognize a situation is not what you wish you were experiencing, what you expect it to be, or how you think it should be, recognize it as emotional attachment. When we desire a specific outcome, this emotional attachment makes it difficult to see the situation clearly.

Instead, I encourage you in these moments to foster an observer state of being – a detached stance so you can navigate calmly and clearly. Remember to be patient with yourself and encourage curiosity and non-judgment as you try to take this approach.
